Trinath was born 2nd July 1986 in Khurda, Orissa. He completed his bachelor’s degree in 2007 from the Utkal Universty of Culture and subsequently undertook a Masters degree in Printmaking which was completed in 2009 at the Kala Bhavana, Visva Bharati in Santiniketan. In his work he comments on the mutual connectivity between man and nature.  His work draws inspiration from nature where as an observer of his own local environment, filled with beautiful landscapes, trees and flowers, led him to explore the concept of "Hybridism". The artist as the observer of the burgeoning population and the need to expand food production responds creatively using hybrid forms as an artistic statement on how to solve the problem of an ever increasing population. The colour and forms on his canvas are an optimistic statement on the new world offered to us through the advanced deployment of science and technology. Trinath lives and works in Orissa.
